Photonlight LED (Light Emitting Diodes) Light Therapy is a scientific process that uses specific wavelengths in the visible light spectrum to send light into the deeper layers of skin to activate a reaction of cellular activity. Light emitting diode (LED) therapy is a safe, non-invasive cosmetic procedure which is used to treat various skin conditions by gently activating skin cells. The technology was originally developed by NASA to improve wound healing in space, and has been in aesthetic use for over 30 years.

Equipped with 3,000 powerful multi-coloured LEDs, Photonlite provides the perfect combination of wavelengths to deliver maximum results. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions including acne, oily skin and non- melanoma skin cancers. It also encourages rejuvenation and wound healing and can help to improve skin texture, fines lines and signs of ageing.

The LED process uses wavelengths in the visible light spectrum to send light into the layers of the skin. There are many colours in the spectrum and they all have their own frequency and vibration, which trigger various types of cellular activity.

When applied to the skin this light energy activates a reaction of cellular activity, a process known as photomodulation. The light is absorbed by the cell and is then dispersed evenly to stimulate the body’s own cellular mechanisms, stimulating collagen production, increasing fibroblast activity and promoting skin rejuvenation and health, which in turn aids immune response.
